BANDON GERIATRIC AND COMMUNITY COUNCIL LTD.
Overall responsibility for the day to day management and organisation
of the Centre, including the support and supervision of staff (paid
and voluntary), and overseeing the work and finance programmes, in
keeping with the ethos of the organisation.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE: -
* A 3rd level qualification in community work or a related discipline
* Experience of community work, group work and group facilitation
* Understanding of the needs of older people
* Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a team setting and on one?s own initiative
* Knowledge and understanding of rural communities and dynamics
* Excellent IT and report writing skills
* Access to own transport and a full clean driving licence
* The Coordinator will work closely with and report to the voluntary
Board of Management
